This design has merged the house in the surrounding countryside, sitting snug in the landscape.  A blank canvas turned in to a stylish but mellow landscape.  The provision of hedges and borders that ‘embrace’ the stonework together with lawn / grassed areas close-by the house, allow the planting of mature and semi-mature trees, cuboid hedges and fragrant lavender infill. 

Drifts of soft landscape planting break up the grassed areas before leading the eye to the estate fencing, gate and hedging beyond.  Feature walls of Cotswold colour stone in the garden flanked by open natural borders contrast with the formality of new red brick raised beds within the newly created walled garden area with its themed gate ironwork particularly effective when egressing back into the softer landscape.
